Ten-year-old Leo is afraid of the dark and always lies awake long after the lights go out—until the day he finds a snow globe with a beautiful white castle inside. It’s a magical castle in a magical world where dreams come to life—and one night, Leo suddenly steps inside.

There he meets Alf, a boy who lives all alone in the vast castle and can make any dream come true with a wave of his wand. But what does Alf dream of? And what lies hidden in the castle’s basement?
